Quotes About "Palestine"

Remember: Israel is bad! Its existence keeps reminding Muslims what a bunch of losers they are. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"There will be no peace until they will love their children more than they hate us."

-Golda Meir-
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
'If the Arabs put down their weapons today, there would be no more ‎violence. If the Jews put ‎down their weapons ‎today, there would be no ‎more Israel'‎
~Benjamin Netanyahu~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Peace of us means the destruction of Israel. We are preparing for an all out war, a war which will last for generations.

~Yasser Arafat~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Throughout his authorized biography (Alan Hart, Arafat: terrorist or peace maker) Arafat asserts at least a dozen times: "The Palestinian people have no national identity. I, Yasser Arafat, man of destiny, will give them that identity through conflict with Israel."
~ Yasser Arafat ~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel. For our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of Palestinian people, since Arab national interest demand that we posit the existence of a distinct 'Palestinian people' to oppose Zionism".

Gan Hashlosha National Park (Sahne)

* Springs, natural pools and warm water
* Overnight Campgrounds
* Level of difficulty: easy
* Walkers

Warm spring water emerge in the western part of the park at a constant, year-round temperature of 28 degrees Celsius, which means swimming is pleasant here in winter, too. The ‘Amal Stream crosses the entire park, and has been widened into pools.

An old water-powered mill now operates again and also features a display of agricultural tools. The adjacent madafeh, or Arab hospitality room, has also been restored.

In the park is a restoration of Tel Amal, established on the night of December 10, 1936 as one of the Tower and Stockade settlements set up by Jewish pioneers in the face of British Mandate opposition. The rooms in which the pioneers lived feature an exhibit of daily objects they used. In another room, children enjoy putting together a model of a settlement. A 10-minute film in the restored dining hall depicts life during the time of the Arab revolt (1936–1939). Interactive group activities can be arranged by reservation.

Opposite Tel Amal is the regional Mediterranean archaeological museum. It contains a display of rare Greek tools, finds from excavations in the Bet She’an Valley, some of which come from as far away as Egypt and Persia, and a unique exhibit about the Etruscans.

How to get there:
The park is off road 669 between Hashita junction and Bet She’an, 15 minutes from Bet She'an; Kavim bus line 412 from Bet She’an to Afula reaches the site.
